Broadway Dental: A Tradition of Care with a Fresh Perspective
Broadway Dental has been a trusted part of the Northeast Minneapolis community for decades. Originally founded by Dr. John Doroschak (Dr. John) in 1961, the practice was later led by his son, Dr. Michael Doroschak (Dr. Mike), who carried on his family’s tradition of compassionate care.
Today, Broadway Dental is under the leadership of Dr. Benjamin Stein, who brings advanced expertise in dental implant placement and sleep-related breathing disorders. A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Stein furthered his training through an advanced residency at Loyola University Medical Center. His commitment to innovation and patient-centered care ensures Broadway Dental continues to offer the highest quality treatment.

OUR TEAM
Dr. Benjamin Stein
Dr. Benjamin Stein began his dental training at the University of Minnesota in 2012. After graduating near the top of his class, he decided to continue his education by completing a General Practice Residency program (GPR) at Loyola University Medical Center, just outside of Chicago, IL. After residency, Dr. Stein began working in downtown Chicago, while continuing to teach dental residents at Loyola as a part-time faculty member. In 2017, Dr. Stein was awarded "Part-time faculty member of the year" as voted by his residents.
In 2020, Dr. Stein moved back home to Minnesota and began working in both a private dental practice as well as a sleep apnea specialty clinic. It became evident to him that treating sleep apnea could truly change the quality of life for many of his patients, and he has since made this a focus. Dr. Stein became a diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2022.
Dr. Stein takes pride in treating the patient, not just their teeth. He takes time to listen to, and truly understand their needs, often coming up with creative solutions to solve dental problems within their budget.

Caitlin
Caitlin is the office manager at Broadway Dental, and she's the one who makes things happen! Whether reviewing insurance information to make sure patients are aware of any expenses, coordinating treatment for patients, or simply giving patients a call to see how they're feeling, Caitlin is generally the first point of contact in our office. Caitlin has been in the dental field for decades, and has been with Dr. Stein since taking over Broadway Dental in 2023.
Carissa
Dental Hygienist extraordinaire! Carissa takes pride in delivering dental care in the most gentle and compassionate manner. We routinely hear from patients how "easy" their appointments are with Carissa, and she makes sure that even the most apprehensive patients leave our office feeling great about their experience! Carissa has worked in many different dental offices, and we are very happy that she has found her dental "home" at Broadway Dental!
Harmony
Trained in both front office and assisting duties, Harmony is a "jack of all trades" for Broadway Dental. She can handle your dental questions via phone or in person, get you scheduled for your next cleaning, or put on her clinical hat and assist Dr. Stein when needed (she is a licensed dental assistant as well!)
Olga
Olga is Dr. Stein's main clinical assistant, and will likely be the one helping Dr. Stein deliver top notch dental care at your next appointment. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in many areas of dental assisting, and has a knack for putting patients at ease with her kind demeaner and infectious personality! Olga has strong roots in the Ukrainian community of Northeast Minneapolis, serving and volunteering frequently in the community.
Sima
Sima is also an extremely helpful and well rounded asset to the staff at Broadway Dental. Sima is an excellent dental assistant, but where she really shines is her proficiency with dental lab work and projects. Need a professionally fabricated retainer or Night Guard? Sima is the best in the business! Keeping these projects in house not only ensures that the quality is top notch, but also limits the turnaround time that would be necessary when using large commercial dental laboratories.
Carissa
Abby recently joined the team at Broadway Dental, and patients are already raving about her gentle, thorough care. With years of experience in the dental field, Abby makes every cleaning feel like a breeze! She lives in Northeast Minneapolis, just a hop, skip, and a jump from the office, and is excited to welcome you at your next visit.
